More Than a Hike
“This isn't a Bible study on a trail. It's a hike where we intentionally make space for God.”
At Heavenward Hikes, there's no pressure, no performance, and no expectation to have all the answers. We simply gather to enjoy God's creation, connect with one another, and leave room for Him to meet us along the way.
Before we head out, each participant receives a Trail Verse, a Scripture to carry and reflect on during the hike. There is no lesson or Bible study. We read the verse, hit the trail, and allow each person to experience the walk in their own way.
As the hike comes to an end, we gather for Trail & Truth, an optional conversation where anyone is welcome to share something that stood out from the Scripture, the trail, or their experience. Sometimes sharing is meaningful, and sometimes simply listening is enough.
We close our time together with a simple prayer before heading home.
Whether you spend the hike in conversation, quiet reflection, connecting with God, or simply taking in the beauty around you, you're welcome here.

Heavenward hikes began in lakeland, florida, with a simple desire to bring people together through faith, fellowship, and god’s creation.
most of our hikes begin close to home, exploring local trails throughout lakeland and central florida. as our community grows, we look forward to discovering new places, wherever god leads.
